You Will Hear Me Speak

‘You Will Hear Me Speak’ is a book filled with stories of the struggles fought by socialists and trade unionists over the last five decades, told through Gary Clark’s frank but entertaining autobiography.

The book begins with Gary’s childhood on an Edinburgh housing scheme. It tells of his lifelong battle to come to terms with a profound stammer, alongside his many battles as a socialist working-class fighter, particularly for the many postal workers he went on to organise and represent.
